Mark Dressler

Officer Mark Dressler Badge# 157 graduated from Northeastern State University in May of 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Paralegal Studies; he also completed the Collegiate Officer Program while attending NSU. Officer Dressler began his law enforcement career with the Northeastern State University Police Department in Tahlequah in January of 2013; at which time he became CLEET certified. Officer Dressler joined the Skiatook Police Department in June of 2014. Officer Dressler completed the D.A.R.E. Officer Training course in 2015 and is now a certified D.A.R.E. Instructor and a certified basic CLEET Instructor. In 2016 Officer Dressler was awarded a commendation for quickly identifying a suspect in a homicide and initiating a pursuit with the suspect. Officer Dressler was awarded the Top Cop Award for his efforts in traffic control in 2017 and was also awarded Top Gun in the 2018 Squad 2 Patrol Rifle School. Officer Dressler is also a certified Car Seat Installation Technician.  In 2019 Officer Dressler was awarded a Life Saving Award, he was again awarded the Top Cop Award for his efforts in traffic control and was also awarded departmental Top Gun for the year.
